Privacy

Overrented is run by n34t, LLC. We collect as little as we can. Here is all of it.

The free rent check

We don't store anything you type into the check. Your ZIP, bedrooms and rents travel in the page address (so you can bookmark or share a result) and are used to compute the result, then forgotten.

My rentals

Saved rentals stay in your browser's local storage. They never reach our servers. Clearing your browser data deletes them; the export file is yours.

Paid kits

• Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see your card number. Stripe shares your email and whether the payment succeeded.
• We store your kit (the rent check numbers, any optional details you add, and the generated text) in private storage so your private link keeps working, along with your email.
• To write the kit, the numbers and the details you added are sent to an AI model through Vercel's AI Gateway. They aren't used to train models.
• Email: we send the link to your kit. If you tick the follow-up box, we send one email 30 days later asking how it went. Nothing else, no newsletter, and we never sell or share your email.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies, to count page views and a few events (a check was run, a checkout started, a kit was bought). We strip the page address's query string, so your numbers aren't recorded.

Deleting your data

Email hello@n34t.com with your kit link and we'll delete it.
